I thought: remember this person 
Attending the pitch event  
That day you spoke at HubWeek 
And winning teams on stage went wild 

We gathered around dinner table 
As you recounted your tales 
That night you sold me on a passion  
My life would never be the same 

MC set out to make more pie 
Instead of taking a slice 
It was the end of the decade 
But the start of an age 

Long live the walls you crashed through 
Visionary lights shined on each of you 
I was screaming long live all the magic you made 
Conjuring up from scratch 
Today, you are remembered  

I said remember this feeling 
We were hustling around 
After the months that we labored across the table 
Leading to right now 

We are young and scrappy  
Trodding streets, up and down the town 
Then they green lighted our projects  
And we put our stakes into ground 

The world changed overnight 
But we stuck to our words 
Not even a moment did we spare to rebuild, 
Retool, remold our whole model  

Long live the fundings we won  
Once again, Mass Million came in our view 
I was screaming long live all the progress we made 
And winning the kickball season  
We are champions  

Long live ecosystems we built  
I had the time of my life expanding footprints with you  
I was screaming long live the awe on our face 
Toast to all the founders  
Today, they are celebrated
